We serve classic diner menu items with homemade goodness you can taste. Homemade breakfast items served daily, sausage patties, country sausage gravy, corned beef hash, old fashioned waffles, pancakes: Nutty Wheat, cornmeal buttermilk and oatmeal cinnamon. Our buckwheat pancake are made from a mix from the historic Butte Creek Mill in Eagle Point, Oregon. Homemade English muffin toast is a favorite as well as our homemade apple butter and jam. We also serve grits and old fashioned potato cakes. Breakfast is served all day.
Homemade lunch item served daily: coleslaw, potato salad, sauerkraut and salsa. Seasonally we serve fresh tomatoes, cucumbers and cantaloupe from our garden. Gluten free fried cornmeal mush, buns, and bread available upon request. We also serve veggie(garden) burgers and turkey burgers. Our 1/3 pounder hamburgers come in fresh to us and are not frozen. We also make our homemade Firecracker Burgers. Try the 1/4 lb. Chicago Hot Dogs, many varities available.
Both breakfast and lunch Munchkin meals are on our menu.
Soups are homemade and selection changes daily. We make the homemade noodles that are in some soups. Chicken or turkey noodle, beef noodle. Other soups are Hearty Vegetable, Minestrone, Beef Barley, Bean n Ham, Clam Chowder, Potato Soup with Rivels, Corn Chowder with Rivels just to name a few. We also make our own chili.
Pies made from scratch, no canned ingredients. Crust from scratch. Each fruit pie has at least 2 lbs of fruit. Made in 9 ½” deep dish glass pie pan. Traditional double crust and Dutch Topping (somewhat like shortbread). Many different fruit pies. Cream pies are also scratch made, including the cream filling. Apple pie available every day – all pies served warmed or not and/or ala mode with Blue Bunny Ice cream or with whipped cream. Pie choices vary daily. Other homemade dessert is our Fresh Apple Cake. Most recipes have been family favorites for years.
